House rules
By booking the accommodation, THE GUEST accepts and agrees to comply with these house rules during their stay.
Before THE GUEST arrives, THE OWNER undertakes to:
- Provide clean bed linen and towels.
- Show the guest the fire extinguishers and check that they are correctly pressurised.
- Show the guest the first-aid kit (in the bottom drawer of the kitchen).
- Provide enough utensils, crockery, cutlery and kitchenware for the authorised number of guests (toaster, coffee maker, griddle, blender and full kitchenware available).
- Provide sufficient tourist information such as maps, guides and leaflets (in the bottom drawer of the kitchen). More information at www.turismodeubeda.com and www.andalucia.org/en/
- Provide hot water (electric water heaters; nothing needs to be switched on).
- Keep the electric ceramic hob, oven and microwave in good working order (toaster and coffee maker also available).
- Keep the air-conditioning units (heating and cooling) in good working order. Available:
- Heat pumps in bedroom 3 and the living room, with remote control.
- Heating in bedroom 2, manual and remote control.
- Storage heaters in the living room, dining room and bedrooms 1, 3 and 4. Programmed operation (nothing needs to be switched on).
For their part, THE GUEST undertakes to:
- Under no circumstances use the house as a party venue, dance hall or for celebrations or activities that disturb the peace of the neighbourhood or could damage the house or its furniture. Accommodating or gathering more people than the authorised and published number of places is not allowed.
- Take responsibility for any damage caused by misuse of the fireplace, heaters, oven or other appliances or furniture in the house.
- Look after the furnishings and belongings in all rooms of the accommodation.
- Check-in and check-out time is 12 noon, unless otherwise agreed.
- Keep the house properly locked when away.
- Not smoke anywhere in the house except the patio.
- Use the ceramic hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and other appliances correctly. If in doubt, call our maintenance staff (see contact).
- Leave the house on departure as you found it: clean, at least swept, and with the dishes washed.
- Report any damage that occurs during the stay so that it can be repaired. Unless otherwise agreed when a reasonable explanation for the damage is accepted, repairs will be at the guest’s expense. The home insurance does not cover damage caused by vandalism, mistreatment or misuse of furniture and belongings.
- The owner may require a cash deposit, or a valid credit card number, when handing over the keys, which will be returned in full once it has been checked that there is no damage to the house.
- The fireplace must be watched at all times and its door kept closed to avoid fire risk; it must not be used for cooking. The owner may provide a load of firewood as a courtesy, without this being an obligation.
- The guest will make good use of the heating, avoiding heat loss through open doors and windows. In line with the regulations for holiday homes, energy and water saving and respect for the environment must be encouraged, so the accommodation may charge for excessive use of water, electricity and fuel, taking meter readings before and after the stay.
- Complaint forms are available to the guest; this is the way to resolve any disagreement between guests and the owner.
- Pets. This accommodation accepts pets when the owner of the pet says so in advance and can guarantee that it will not disturb the neighbours. Pets may not be in the bedrooms or get on the beds, sofas or rugs. Guests are solely liable for any damage their pet causes to third parties.
- Before the guests leave, the owners reserve the right to check that everything is in its proper place.
- If guests decide to leave before the booked departure date, the holiday home “CERROS DE ÚBEDA” will not refund, under any circumstances, the difference between the booked stay and the actual stay.
